To get your Savings Card and start saving on PRADAXA, simply:

  • Download the card by clicking here.
  • Bring the card to your doctor and ask if PRADAXA may be right for you.
  • And once you have a prescription, call 1-877-481-5332 to activate your card and start saving on PRADAXA.

Benefits with the PRADAXA Savings Card

Based on your insurance status, you may be eligible for one of the following:

  • If commercially insured, you could pay no more than $10 with maximum savings of $150 per monthly prescription over a 12 consecutive month period, subject to a total limit of $1800 in potential savings or 12 uses, whichever comes first. Consult your insurer for any limitations under your policy.
  • OR
  • If covered by a government-funded program (e.g., Medicare Part D, Medicaid, TriCare, DoD), or a cash-only paying patient, you could receive one free 30-day supply of PRADAXA during a 12 consecutive month period. This card is not valid in Vet. Affairs pharmacies.

If you are a patient at least 18 years of age, you may be eligible for one of the following:

  • If you have commercial insurance, you must pay the first $10 of cost sharing responsibility. BIPI will pay cost sharing amounts in excess of $10 per month up to a maximum of $150 per monthly prescription over 12 consecutive months, subject to a total limit of either $1800 or 12 uses during such 12-month period, whichever comes first. You must pay any additional cost sharing above the $150 monthly maximum. You may wish to consult with your insurer regarding any limitations that may apply to this program under your insurance policy.
  • OR
  • If you have government insurance (e.g., Medicare Part D, Medicaid, TriCare, or DOD), or if you pay only with cash, you will receive one free 30-day supply during a 12 consecutive month period. The Savings Card is not valid in Veterans Affairs pharmacies.

    You must present this Savings Card with your prescription for Pradaxa® (dabigatran etexilate mesylate) capsules to the pharmacist to participate. If you have questions regarding this offer or wish to discontinue your participation, call the PRADAXA program at 1-866-404-4345 any time, day or night. Limit one offer per patient. This offer may not be combined with any other offer and is only valid in the United States and Puerto Rico. The Savings Card is not insurance. This offer and the Savings Card expire on June 30, 2015 for Massachusetts residents and on December 31, 2015 for other patients. Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
